Cortellazzo, the River Piave and the Mort Lagoon

The route starts from Jesolo Lido and then goes east. After a nice ride through the pine forest of Jesolo, you will reach Cortellazzo, a small fishing village at the mouth of the River Piave with a picturesque fish market.
Crossing its famous floating bridge of boats, you will enter the territory of Eraclea Mare and then following the bank of the Revedoli canal, you will reach the nature reserve of the Mort Lagoon, an incredibly beautiful place formed in the early 1900s after the flood of the River Piave. There are various paths which you can follow both inside the pine forest with excellent single track and out of the forest going towards the lagoon, almost touching the water.
The route will take you to the pine forest of Eraclea Mare along the beach and then back on a paved road along the Revedoli canal. Finally, you will cross the River Piave again and return to Jesolo going through the pine forest.
