This easy excursion will take you through some UNESCO world heritage sites, cycling in the landscape of the Eastern Venetian lagoon. You will discover the green banks, the ancient shores and the fishing valleys of Venice with pleasant bike rides and a short journey by motorboat just like the people who live on the lagoon. Starting from the Smeraldo hotel, you will cycle along the banks of the River Sile (also known as Piave Vecchia) for a journey into the history of the Serenissima, to a time when the spring water stream was diverted by the canal known as Taglio del Sile. You will then reach Lio Maggiore, immersed in the stillness of the lagoon fishing valleys and then a short journey aboard the motorboat to reach Lio Piccolo in about 30 minutes. Once back on the bike, you will ride through the beautiful lagoon landscapes and along its endless bodies of water admiring the reflection of lights and colours. You will finally return to Jesolo after a tour of about 40 km.
